Laid Back Family portraits in Worcester and beyond
What can you say about family? Whether it’s the one that you were born into or the one that you created, there are very few relationships that come close to what you have with your family. We often think about our family as something that never changes but we know that isn’t true. Our families are dynamic and in a constant state of change. Family portraits are about capturing who you are as a family and that goes beyond wrestling your child onto a stool at Sears for a rigid portrait session. I want your family portrait session to capture your energy. I photograph families in comfortable places - backyards, parks, living rooms and more- all over Worcester County (check out this blog on my five most popular photo spots). My approach to family sessions is a solid blend of candid and light posing. In addition to portrait sessions, I also offer lifestyle sessions, cake smashes, and more.

I am all about feedback like this as a family photographer. Professional photography isn’t part of most people’s day-to-day life and it can be a bit intimidating. I get that. I keep my sessions laid-back and always maintain a sense of humor. Smiles that come from genuine laughter are the best smiles. Always. This goes for the little ones too. I spent years teaching kindergarten. I know how to make kids smile and that usually means making them feel comfortable and involved. I am also totally cool with singing “Baby Shark” if it comes to it - I can do so in English and Korean. At the end of your session, you will come away with group photos to hang over the mantle and candid photos that will make you smile. You will get your family story in photographs.
Investment
I offer two family session packages. Regardless of the package, your session will include a consultation, a PDF prep guide, and a family portrait session at a location that you choose (I have plenty of recommendations). These sessions typically last 1 - 2 hours but are never rushed. Your individually edited images will be delivered via a beautiful digital gallery that is always free to view and ready to be shared. I do not limit the number of images I put into the gallery. The package you choose determines what products you get from here. Pricing is for a single family.
